个人简介：

I obtained my B.E. and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China, in 2008 and 2014 respectively. I am currently a research fellow at the University of Aberdeen. I am an IEEE member, a CIGRE UK member, a member of CIGRE B4.66 working group, a member and secretary of CIGRE B4.72 working group. I have published more than 70 pee-reviewed journals- conference articles, among which 17 are published in SCI indexed English journals, 17 are published in Proceedings of the CSEE. I have applied more 20 patents as the 1st named inventor, among which 6 have been issued by State Intellectual Property Office of China, 2 have been issued by the US patent office. I have 6 other US-EPO patents and a number of other Chinese patents under review. I am the 2nd supervisor and technical director of SGO-DC, a research group that focuses on the research and development of VSC-HVDC and DC grid. I am the major inventor of a family of DC-DC autotransformer (DC AUTO) technology. The DC AUTO technology is able to save 20%-80% the cost compared with conventional DC-AC-DC for HVDC application.
